1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using lablens.co ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including registered users, paying customers, and visitors.

2. Description of Service

LabLens is an AI-powered health education tool that allows users to upload lab report PDFs and receive plain-language explanations of test results. The Service:

• Uses artificial intelligence to extract and interpret lab markers
• Provides general health education information based on uploaded reports
• Suggests lifestyle, diet, and supplement information for general awareness
• Does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition
• Is not a licensed medical service or healthcare provider

3. Not Medical Advice

All content generated by LabLens, including marker explanations, health summaries, supplement suggestions, diet tips, and doctor questions, is for general health education purposes only. This content:

• Does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Should not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional
• May be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific health situation
• Is generated by AI and has not been reviewed or validated by a licensed medical professional
• Should not be used as the basis for any medical decision

Always consult your doctor, physician, or other qualified health provider with questions about your health. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something you read on LabLens.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

LabLens uses third-party artificial intelligence models (including Anthropic's Claude) to analyze and interpret lab data. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content can be incorrect, outdated, or misleading
• The AI may misread, misinterpret, or fail to extract data from your PDF
• Results may vary between reports even for identical values
• LabLens makes no warranty about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated analysis
• You assume full responsibility for how you use the AI-generated output

5. User Accounts and Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information during registration
• One free report per person — creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free reports is prohibited
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

6. Report Credits and Payments

• Report credits are non-refundable once purchased, except as required by applicable law
• Credits do not expire and can be used at any time while the Service is operational
• Credits are tied to your account and cannot be transferred to another account
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. LabLens does not store your payment information
• In case of a failed analysis due to a technical error on our end, we will restore the credit used
• We reserve the right to change pricing at any time with 30 days notice to existing users

7. Service Availability and Discontinuation

LabLens is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We explicitly reserve the right to:

• Discontinue, suspend, or shut down the Service at any time, with or without notice
• Modify, limit, or remove any feature of the Service without prior notice
• Perform maintenance that may result in temporary unavailability
• Terminate the Service permanently at our sole discretion

In the event of permanent discontinuation, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users at least 30 days in advance via email if contact information is available. Any unused report credits at the time of permanent shutdown will be refunded on a pro-rata basis at our discretion.

8. Data and Privacy

• Lab report PDFs are processed temporarily and deleted from our servers after analysis
• Extracted health data and analysis results are stored in your account history
• We do not sell your health data to third parties
• Your data may be used in anonymized, aggregated form to improve our AI models
• You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting govindmh14@gmail.com

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Upload reports belonging to others without their explicit consent
• Use the Service for any commercial medical practice or clinical decision-making
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent the free report limitation
• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or other harmful content
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable Indian or international law

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LabLens and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Any health outcomes, medical decisions, or actions taken based on AI-generated content
• Inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading analysis results
• Loss of data, service interruption, or downtime
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service
• Decisions made by users or their healthcare providers based on LabLens output

Your use of LabLens is entirely at your own risk.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LabLens, its operators, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. You expressly consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. For material changes, we will attempt to notify registered users via email.
